It’s hard for young authors to understand the need to revise and edit their writing. It’s particularly difficult for them to edit for specific objectives in their writing. Try having students rotate among stations around the room. At each station, they revise or edit with a specific objective in mind, such as spelling or reviewing for complete sentences.
